The drawings in this series were created in the first months of the COVID19 pandemic, based on observations of surgical gloves and masks. Made in India ink on rice paper, the drawings deal with the paper's difficulty in retaining ink: the India ink spreads across the paper with a certain autonomy, which prevents control and precision of lines and stains. The drawings were creased and placed inside an acrylic box.
