​The series the same, the others is the result of research I have been developing around the tension between presence and absence. Through the manipulation of photographs from family archive, I seek to approach themes such as the action of time, the processes of disappearance, memory and identity. In these artworks, I literally interlace my face with those of my ancestors. By crossing different identities and temporalities, I try to play with the idea of physiognomies that are never completed.
